Two files with Wells Fargo not moving along.  I get the same "we're busy and we'll get to you" message in Equator that others have encountered.  Now one of my sellers is going to be foreclosed because the file didn't get reviewed quickly enough and by the time it was reviewed, I was given a crazy counter offer which, of course, the buyer couldn't do.  I rejected the offer in EQ and 2 days later, they sent it out for FC.  Seller gets his letter this Monday.

I won't be taking any more Wells Fargo short sales for awhile...

If a FC Sale Date is within 60 days of Short Sale submission do not use Equator with Wells Fargo. FAX!

Kevin, it was never that close.  They only threw it at the FC attorney once the counter was rejected.  I know well enough not to use EQ when we're that close and, if I get another offer it will be faxed.  By my estimattion, this being the first 30 day letter, we have about 5-6 weeks to get something else.

I ran into an Equator issue with Wells as well.

They gave us a counter offer at $206,500.
The odd part - we agreed and got DENIED!!!!

Huh you are thinking, well, apparently the BPO expired while the file was with the Investor (Freddie Mac), and, they TRIED to make us start the "lovely" process over again.

Literally ONE "slightly obnoxious" e-mail to the right persons at Freddie and Wells, and, problem solved, approval coming this Tuesday.

As with most short sales, just a matter of knowing who to complain to in order to get things done!!!

Enjoy your weekends......I WILL BE ON THE SHORT SALE CRUISE!!!!
