Wamu now demanding promissary notes?

Was told by another short sale agent that the Wamu side of Chase is now demanding promissary notes on all shortages. Is this true? Or is this still case by case. This agent was told this is policy.

For informational purposes this is a Wamu first mortgage with none behind it.

most Servicers are starting to ASK for promissory notes......remember, they are called "negotiators" for a reason, they get paid by their investors to get back as much cash as possible.....remember to push back.....it is ok to tell them "no"!!!!!
