I got a message from Suntrust with a list of missing docs, on was a contract addendum.  I have searched everywhere and don't see any reference to a Suntrust contract addendum anywhere.  This is not to be confused with the 5 affidavits, which we have already submitted.  Can anyone shed any light on this?  IS there a standard Suntrust contract addendum?

For whatever reason I have not had the pleasure of working a Suntrust short sale in a while. Do they still require their 5 affidavits? Thanks!

Kathy,

It's still up to SunTrust if they want to offer.

Will suntrust pay seller relocation costs on a VA mortgage?  If so how much should I alot for on the HUD 1

Suntrust Tip: I have had a short sale that I have been trying to get done and have lost two buyers in the process. I started sending everything to the single point of contact via Fed Ex. I was just reviewing my notes and realized I have not had one document lost that I sent Fed Ex. I lost the second buyer anyway but have a new offer that I sent via FedEx last week. The file has already been reviewed.

Incredibly, six months later - they revise the approval with a workable prom note and cash contribution, and leave off the title insurance and taxes prorations onthe HUD. Now, if we can save the buyer and get Bank of America to re-approve quickly, we'll be fine!

Oh sorry misread that.  Why am I not shocked - duh.  I was more shocked that you got it done successfully. Back to my thought.....never again will I take another Suntrust.

Anna - It's over. The seller is not accepting the ridiculous promissory note.  I will have to think long and hard about ever working with them again, as well.

Wendy congrats for getting it done. I know how challenging they can be.  I swore I'd never take another Suntrust

After requesting $119,000 note on a $220,000 mortgage at a $100,000 sale price, and providing Suntrust further hardship proof, they tell me the file is being re-reviewed in "QUALITY CONTROL" for three more weeks. Today, my executive escalation is successful. Approved. WITH THE SAME $119,000 promissory note. Six months of paying to do this short sale. I would not give Suntrust any rave reviews.
