If you received a offer in the mail from Quantum Servicing, you better think twice.  They offered a seller I was working with $5,000 incentive when he short sold his home. But when he called in, they said he didn't qualify because there was a second on the property.  Beware of anything you receive in the mail from them.  They are very difficult to work with on a short sale.  If you don't agree with their tactics, don't dare raise your voice, they will attempt to contact your seller and hold him hostage to switch brokers or they will continue with foreclosure process.  But wait, you say, isn't this illegal? It sure is, this was confirmed by a phone call to the California Association of REALTORS, legal hotline.
