I have a 2 family home that is condemned and is in need of over $60,000 of repairs. Ocwen says homes valuation came in at $65,000 but appraiser did not view the whole house because it was not safe. My buyer's offer is $50,000. I've informed Ocwen that because the house is vacant it will be rezoned as a single family and in the condition that it is in they will not get $50,000 as a single family. Property also has violations. Should I try to reach out to the investor directly?
