You're better off waiting for Metlife to transfer files to Chase than attempt to wade through their crap.

Hello Everyone,

I am just beginning a Short Sale with MetLife, and I wanted to correct the fax numbers for ending SS packages.

Fax No. 1 - 1-214-441-6180

Fax No. 2 - 1-214-441-6190

MetLife is transferring ALL loans to Chase on March 1, 2013. If your loan is not approved by that date, you may have to resubmitt information to Chase. I will try to make updates weekly on how this goes: before, during, and after transition to Chase.

Have most unusual situation - in SC - homeowner gave up as no reply from Met life - have buyer interested - home is stuck in SC foreclosure intervention - seller reports no contact in over 6 months - any one with good contact - from what i read this is really tough group to get answers from ? anyone with contact ?

The phone numbers listed to the Loss Mitigation Dept. appear to be either no one is answering or they do not work. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Can Sellers Rent Back,

Just wondering if MetLife is one of the lenders that will prohibit the buyer from renting back to the sellers.
