Has anyone ever gotten a full deficiency release from Litton as the first lien holder in a non HAFA short sale? The letter we received did not offer a full release.
Thanks for advising - anyone good to escalate the request to?

The best I've been able to get is "Litton will provide a satisfaction of debt within the statutory time limit governed by the property state." I advised my clients to get legal advice before responding to Litton's short sale approval offer because it is unclear what this means. They decided to just go ahead and agree to the terms and forego legal advice. If you can enlighten me on the meaning of this statement, I would appreciate it.
