Beneficial - FHA - No Release in Approval letter?

hi all,

my understanding is that a FHA short sale 'automatically' included a waiver of deficiency liability but the approval letter makes no mention of any waiver, just a release of lien.  

Do all FHA short sales include waiver or deficiency?  

thanks - just trying to figure out if I need Beneficial to re-write the letter to include the waiver language.
