Anyone encounter this situation before? The lender is refusing to pay for any seller fees except for those listed below:

All fees to attorney will have to be taken off since Massachusetts is a Non Judicial state. We pay just 6% commission and title insurance in these states. 

 

Any suggestions?

It really depends on what you are using the attorneys for. We use an attorney group to review our short sale letters after they are received. I often have to explain that MN license law does not allow me to give legal advice and as such someone needs to review the short sale approval letters for the seller as a last step in the transaction. You could also counter the buyer and ask them to pay the attorney fee.
