GMAC - Have you gotten approval on sale where homeowner was CURRENT?

The last GMAC I did was last year and the homeowner was WAY behind.  I have a new sale coming up where the homeowner is current but has a clear hardship. 

 

Does anyone know if they will approve a short sale where the homeowner is current on their mortgage or do they need to be in default?

Better than that! GMAC has a pre-foreclosure sale program. Seller was not behind, only had to be 30 days late at time of closing, and got money to do the short sale.
Evelyn, do you have the contact info for that program? I would appreciate it.
