Anyone submitted a short sale to GMAC and receive call from Kazork as your point of contact? We have been on market a couple of weeks - no offer. BPO agent was sent last week - get a call today
from a rep of this company - valuation has been set near payoff and unless we can get an offer at this price by Monday - Foreclosure is set to proceed on 9/4/12 period. No price reduction is allowed -
should I go directly to GMAC and ask for permission to reduce. We are not going to get an offer at
this price....thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

'should I go directly to GMAC and ask for permission to reduce' - No. List to sell.
Rep from Kazork tells me Fannie set this price and must net X dollar or no deal. Based on their numbers and not being allowed to reduce without their approval, these sellers are backed in a corner.
Mute point if you don't have a Buyer. Find a Buyer, work the negotiation.
Can't you dispute their value like we dispute HUDs, appraisers, and BPO Agents? I would quickly put a package together and find someone in Fannie Mae to send it to. Doesn't hurt; all they can say is no and then you can say you tried.
Will give it a try, like you stated - doesn't hurt to try. Just cannot believe no more than they owe that this
is their only alternative. Basically asking for payoff.......doesn't sound like a HAFA short sale to me. This
rep talked more like a "third party collections agency".
Have you talked to anyone at Fannie Mae?
