I have a buyer doing an RD loan on one of my short sales and is asking for roughly 4% closing cost to be paid by the seller. Does Freddie Mac allow more than 3% seller concessions with an RD loan?Continue

Treasury’s HAFA program ends on December 31, 2013. However, Freddie Mac’s participation in the program expired on December 31, 2012. The materials on this Web page are only applicable to borrower evaluations on Freddie Mac mortgages conducted on or before December 31, 2012. The Freddie Mac Standard Short Sale is available for borrowers evaluated after December 31, 2012.
Hi L Brown. Freddie has never participated in HAFA. Neither has Fannie. HAFA has always been for non GSE loans. But both will give $3,000 in relo money.
Hey Minna, I'm doing a Freddie Mac short sale. When I escalated it to Freddie Mac, the rep told me Freddie Mac is no longer participating in HAFA. Is that true?
The seller wants relo expenses but even with HAFA her 2012 loan is after the January 1, 2009 cut off - the loan must be on or before that date. Anyone have any ideas to get ANY money for seller from lender or govt? I don't contribute, I feel I earn my money. Also won't go off HUD.
Need some help with a Provident Freddie deal. Ready to approve but the servicer insists Freddie will allow 3% seller concessions to a buyer with an FHA loan only. I know this is nonsense as I have always gotten 3% to any financed buyer, but they insist. I am looking for a guideline to send them and can't find one. Anyone know where I can locate this?
Can anyone provide me with a link to a recent listing of charges that Freddie Mac will/will not pay in a short sale?
Just tried to call 800-FREDDIE to escalate an issue w/ the servicer. Received a message that the call center is closed from 12:30-1:30 for lunch. What a customer service fail. Does anyone have a back door number they could share?
How do I escalate with Freddie Mac?
I need a FREDDIE MAC ONLY 3RD APRTY AUTHORIZATION FORM, no where online is it available..HELP!!!
