EMC USED to be the best in the industry at doing short sales. I used to LOVE working with them... but since I started this last one a month ago I noticed nobody answers the phone there. Now I'm seeing that CHASE bought them? That would explain things...B of A and CHASE both need to be abolished. I held an hour before someone answered the phone- only to then disconnect me! As I'm writing this I just confirmed with their "list assist" dept. Chase now is controlling things...OMG - this is the begining of the end for EMC for sure!

They were my favorite too. Two weeks ago I held for hour intervals all week. They finally picked the phone up at the end of the week. Fortunately they gave me the new negotiators e-mail and she just e-mailed me to tell me she is back from vacation.

I thought they had a duty to at least answer the phone.
sad but true....Chase and JP Morgan acquired EMC some time ago.....like any other short sale, you just need contacts in teh executive offices (and a GREAT deal of patience) to get them done!!!
How sad that you have to call the Exec office. Things should just work systematically the way they used to with EMC.
