VA financing

I have an offer with VA financing on a short sale I am just starting with Citi. I have not worked with them before. Does anyone know if Citi will allow the seller to pay 3% closing costs for VA? They won't answer my question as they didn't have my authorization uploaded yet. Any ideas?

Just got approval on a VA with Wells Fargo @ 3%

Did the Seller actually give the 3%, or did it come out of Seller's proceeds (i.e. from the Lender's pocket)?

Marsha, Citi will most likely allow the 3% to go toward the buyers closing costs out of the proceeds form the sale.
