I would sincerely appreciate any assistance with contacts, resolutions, etc with the follow situation:
I have a HAFA Short Sale that was APPROVED by the previous lender and we were just waiting for the buyer's lender to be ready to settle. In the interim, I was notified that Citi was taking over the file. The previous lender could not tell me whether or not Citi would honor the approval.
I have been calling for weeks, with and without the homeowner, and have been given the runaround. No one is able to answer my question or point me in the direction of someone that can. I have been told that 'notes' have been added explaining my situation which will allow it to be assigned to someone quickly and get me answers for the homeowner and the buyer. Earlier this week, I was told that the file still has not been assigned AND the homeowner must call in to speed up the assignment and they still had no idea of who could answer our question.
October will be a year that the property has been on the market. The homeowner is at her wits end. Not to mention, at this point settlement is scheduled for next week.
Would someone please assist me in getting both parties, especially the homeowner, through this nightmare so that they may move on with their lives.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Cordially,
Nina Sloan
