Beware of Central Mortgage, they do not like to postpone foreclosures. We met a counter offer today on a Fannie Mae but they refused to postpone the foreclosure sale date on Tuesday, Jan. 22 since the delinquency was over 12 months. When I spoke to Fannie Mae they said it was up to the servicer when the loan is over 12 months delinquent. The homeowner is elderly and we didn't get the listing until the foreclosure proceedings had started because so many elderly people have no idea about the short sale option - I feel sorry for her but we tried everything to the last minute.....
