Hello everyone. I have a situation and I hope someone can help me. I'm doing a short sale with BofA and  they send me decline letter (failed internal review) last week.  I spoke with the relationship manager she told me that it was decline because the buyer offer was too low but, she decided to reopen it up for me. I can came in this morning and they send me corrected decline letter, stating the same reason as before. I guess my question is, who can I talk to at BofA to get this file moving along or what are my options?

I haven't either.  If anyone has an escalation number in this forum, I could use it.

I've never known BofA to process 2nd in Equator.

Comment by Scott on January 6, 2016 at 7:46am

this is a 2nd, but it's a countrywide series loan--not a HELOC.

Comment by Amanda Bruen on January 6, 2016 at 7:41am

Scott, what type of loan is it?

Comment by Scott on January 6, 2016 at 7:35am

I need an escalation contact, phone number, etc. for BOA.  I have an issue initiating the file.  These idiots keep telling me to initiate the file through Equator.  The system won't allow it.  I've given them the error code.  Now, they won't return my phone calls.

All of my prior BOA escalation phone numbers now don't work.  I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP WITH THIS.

Short Sale Agent Update

August 4, 2015

Reminder for the FHA Marketing process

As a reminder, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Marketing process has been updated to require the home to be listed in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) 15 days prior to the offer documents being submitted to the Upload Initiation Documents task in Equator.

For more information, the Mortgagee Letter 2014-15 requirements can be found at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development website.

@jon, that is likely going to be an issue. An agent needs to list the property if it's a short sale. Call me 310-564-6389.

Comment by Jon Randolph on August 3, 2015 at 5:10am

@ Brett,

I am an investor and am the only one doing this short sale. There is no one else involved so there will be no agent above me. Should I only fill out the bottom then ?
