have you all been told that each negotiator has 30 days each to process the file?

I followed up on my file today, which has been with BOA since Aug. and was told that it should go to the first negotiator within the next day or two. Afterwhich, BOA will order an appraisal.

I was told by the SS rep. that I should expect at least 90 days from the time the first negotiator handles the file, so it looks like it may be after Christmas before I know anything solid on this. She also advised me that it would be wise to take back-up offers right now.

It seems as though their FHA backed loans are taking longer than they anticipated, therefore, the process is being delayed.

The good thing out of all of this was that the SS rep. was right in Irving, Tx., which is about 1hr. from me. So I guess if push came to shove, I could go out there and try to WOOO some negotiators with lunch or something. LOL!!

Yes, each phase they get 30 business days, 6 weeks! They are terrible with any of the FHA, FNMA or Freddie loans, hate to say it but you should expect 5 months to get this done.
All true, sadly. Do take back up offers and make sure you have current financials every month...
