All this, just because my 1st Lien approval expires on 7/20/2012. Buyers money is still in escrow! Wish me luck! My loan appears to be 1 of the few ones in limbo. Is not with Nationstar is not with Selene, and my borrower has not received a transfer letter.

Thanks, Pattilynn! It beats 'head banging' and 'tree barking!'
Genius Eloise!
I initiated one yesterday on Equator - nothing yet - we'll see....
How about we all approach this Aurora mess by using 'The Process Of Elimination Approach' instead of wasting our time barking up a bunch of dead trees? Since we are all trying to figure out which of the Aurora short sale files we are working on have been offloaded to 'where' - May I suggest logging onto Equator and initiating a short sale for those properties that have an unknown whereabouts? NationStar uses Equator to initiate Short Sales - and if your short sale loan number is NOT in the batch of loan numbers they received, it is my humble opinion that during this time of 'confusion' it is entirely plausible as well as excusable to enter your short sale property, loan number, and all documents to date into the Equator system. Then, with any luck, you will either get a response identifying that they do in fact have that file and thanking you for uploading the entire file to date for them; or, a notification that THEY DON'T HAVE THE PROPERTY ADDRESS/LOAN # in their system. Either way, as I see it - this could be a win/win for us mushrooms out here in the field because it would facilitate us knowing 'either they have it, or they don't' so if they don't have that particular property in their newly acquired inventory - we all know to turn to the other servicer that received files from Aurora in our efforts to continue to closing! (One benefit to defaulting borrowers, could be, a stalling affect of the property on its march to the courthouse foreclosure auctions!) **If you are not familiar with Equator, go to Equator.com and set up an account. Its free for agents and on your dashboard there is a list of lenders & servicers that currently use it for initiatiating and tracking the short sale process. Everything you 'send' to them is uploaded into the system library and there are no excuses that 'they didn't receive it' or that 'you didn't send it' or they lost it!
An e-mail that I just sent to Ta-Tanisha Thames ([email protected]) just bounced back as 'undeliverable'...however, I have not received an alert regarding the other two e-mail addresses to which I sent e-mail at the same time. For 'now' these two seem to still be operational: [email protected]; [email protected]. So, everybody, update your Aurora contacts!
Well, how can I said this... 2 liens. 1 with WF, the 2nd with AURORA. It was monday and I requested FINAL HUD approval from both that same monday. WF approved our HUD on Wend. to close on FRIDAY. Aurora never responded so on THR I called them and BOOM! They were closed. Now Nationstar does not have our info. I wish we could have 1 place to complain and force lenders to do smooth transfers and not this anymore. It is a pain.
