Will Chase allow electronic signature?

Quick question, I have 2 offers on a listing right now that is virtually identical, with the only difference of 1 saying they will down more than the other, but he sent me an offer with electronic signature on it and I am not too sure if this is allow by Chase.  Does anyone know if Chase will allow electronic signature?

I don't know specifically about Chase but I've had lots of problems with e-signatures just for the fact that if just one party gives you grief you have to go back and get all the docs signed again.  So for now I've given up on e-signatures.  It's too bad so because it's so convenient and the docs are perfectly legible unlike docs faxed 15 times.  When will everyone come on board??

I don't believe Chase allows electronic signature on a contract and this goes for most lenders as well. I would submit the offer to the lender while I work on getting the buyer's to hand sign the offer to prevent future delays in processing of the short sale.

I use docusign on all of documents. And have closed with Chase with all digital signatures. I think it depends more on the investor than the lender. All government short sales need "wet" signatures. FNMA will accept digital. Freddie usually needs "wet".

I use digital and the just have the buyer and seller sign again right next to their digital marks just in case we need it later.

I always use wet signatures for all my Short Sales.  Why risk it?  Time is everything..

I concur.  Generally (and sadly) they are not worth the trouble.  Just think how much easier and quicker it would be if they were accepted on the whole.  No more sending documents back and forth to multiple parties. This alone can take several days.  Then only to have the Servicer say the documents are not legible.

Chase will usually always allow docusign, I use it all the time.

I short sold my house couple months ago. Our lender was Chase and our buyer's offer was with e-signature. We got approved.
