There certainly is a big difference between Wells Fargo and Bank of America when it comes to the process in equator.

I certainly prefer the way Bank of America handles it over Wells, what does everyone else think?

  • BofA is much better but that's probably because they've been doing Equator longer.  Remember when Equator first came on line and we all hated it ?  Hopefully Wells will open up more functionality, allow us to see what we submitted and when (I keep dated copies) and hopefully, they'll get better at Equator.

    Just my .02

  • Definitely BofA ... One Wells Fargo EQ was more than enough for me... Fax only..

    • I prefer BOfA as well. I wonder if there is any way to gives Wells feedback on their use of Equator. They have gotten better in their processing time ... now if we can get Equator to work for the agents as well.

  • I agree with the posts on this thread, WF cannot compare to BofA's system of utilizing Equator. It takes FOREVER to enter the initial info for WF loans. They want us to enter the HUD and provide everything but DNA. I don't like that they won't allow us to upload random docs that may support the information, only what they request/disabled the ability to upload into library. Not a fan, hopefully they will tweak it to make it more streamlined.

  • With Wells I fax!

  • It is way TOO time consuming when compared to BofA's. I haven't used the Equator system for Wells since the 1st time I had to do it. I work all of their files the traditional way.

  • There is no comparison. Bank of America is the champion of Equator.  They should have a lender performance rating system on there for the agents to provide feedback.  Wells Fargo needs to take some lessons from BOFA.

  • OMG. BOA is WAY easier.  Wells is WAY too cumbersome.  Too many tasks broken up that could be done and streamlined like BOA.
