Andrea,
Reaching out to the OOP at WF is usually not as much help as you would hope and they tend to only deal directly with the homeowner. We work frequently with this Office for documentation purposes only but what you really need to do is get to a supervisor or possible a department manager. We work often with department managers to review these types of situation along with other unusual workout options such as short refinancing (or what they refer to as a Short Pay Off). It is primarily important to make sure that you have escalated to all the proper management officials prior to be taking this to the OOP because that will also impact their ability to help you.
We find as we process hundreds of short sales it give us a large net to capture contacts with besides that fact that this business like any business is all about who you know. If you continue to have problems you should also consider MHA escalations but that is another story for another day.
All the best.
