Last week the second USAA wanted me to sign an addendum that changes my inspection time from 17 days to 10 days. Which I signed.

 

 Now today I get a new addendum that says: Sellers contribution to buyers recurring and non-recurring closing costs to be 3000.00. I signed that too.

Can someone tell me if this is a good thing ?

The forclosure date on the property is set for on or about Aug. 13. Really doesn't seem like enough time to close a sale.

They are offering you $3,000 for closing, that apparently you weren't asking for. That's a good thing. Does this mean your contract says you do your inspections After lender approval? If so, maybe you do them now, so the lenders know that is done. You should be getting better info from whoever is negotiating the sale. If you're buying cash, you have plenty of time. If financing, make sure everything is ready to go.
