I just had a federal tax lien pop up on a bring down of title before closing on a short sale I have been working on for a while. Can someone guide me as to should I be requesting a subordination or a discharge of lien as they are 2 different IRS applications and just dont want to waste too much time. Thanks for any input and advice.
