  • Give them a call and ask who the investor on the loan is. Ask if they will consider reviewing the homeowner for a short sale while they are currently on their mortgage. It all depends on who the investor on the loan is and their guidelines in regards to reviewing a borrower while they are current. Type of hardship could play a role as well.
