So, The caller says he is interested in a short sale listing I have, and his attorney will take over negotiations

and asks if that is ok with me!  I say no, that is not ok with me..and before much more is said, he says, that they are an investment group, and their atty, does the negotiating.  Bad connection, could not hear much else..except something about it won't affect my commission, and if they decide to buy the house, they will call me!  Ok, sure..even if they have never looked at it, and have an area code from God knows where...anyone else getting these calls?  off of craigslist ..

    One word... SCAM!  I hate Craigslist for reasons like this.  This caller is attempting to get you to relinquish agency and negotiate on everybody's behalf.  Absolutely not! Please share this with your office and realtor friends of yourd.It's definitely worth it to share your experience and protect other agents who aren't part of a community of professionals here like you are. Koodos to you for being smart.

    Uhhhh, not just no, HELL NO!  I got caught up in one of these a few years ago and never again. they want to write an option contract I am sure.  Maybe others will go for it, but not me
