I thought this was interesting. Can't imagine how many laws might be broken with incentives like BMW's and Coach Purses. Marketing ideas aren't bad however.

Anyone heard of these guys or similar types of groups that want to 'take over' your Short Sale negotiations?

  • Agree!  Everyone in business is trying to make money on the Short Sale Craze.  Where were they 5 years ago when nobody wanted them, almost nobody worked them, almost no Lenders knew how to deal with them, most Realtors didn't understand them..how many difficult short sales do they actually close???  I know many 3rd party negotiation companies that won't even take the tough ones, the ones with liens, the ones with attorneys, the ones with sold-off seconds.  Keep your purses..show me the CLOSINGS....
  • Heidi, I've never heard of this particular company, but to me this is WAY too showy to be realistic.  That said I have used a few negotiation services and you really have to do your homework.  I like the ones I work with I also have had investors negotiate my short sales and again, you really have to make sure you are comfortable with who they are and what they are doing.  The biggest thing is communication.

To me when you are acting that showy, it's grasping at straws.  It wouldn't be for me.  Any 3d party negotiator I've worked with has had the credentials to back what they can do without trying to entice me with cars and purses.
