Short sale software?

We are considering using software, now, to manage all our short sale files and paperwork. We have about 200 files...seriously. Anyone using Short Sale Commander? It looks interesting. We have two full time people and one attorney working on these and it seems like maybe a good option? Amy Jacksonville, FL

  • I use short sale commander and it's great. Very streamlined and clean packages, easy to read and place all your docs in a row. I have a lot of volume as well and it's been great keeping me and my team on track and updated. You can also issue a user name and password to all parties so they can check in 24/7 and keep up-to-date on who's doing what to your file.

    Good luck.

  • Yes, We have been using Short Sale Commander for about a year and we all love it.  It has wonderful features.  I would recommend this software system.  You can email and fax from this system we well.  When creating a package it will put all your documents in order and place the sellers name, address, loan number on al pages and number each page page 1 - 65.

Fantastic feature.  No more writing the loan # on each page.

  • I use SSC, the only thing I'd like to see in there is a fax option.  I would also consider http://proptrackr.com/what-is-proptrackr/#hud  Then there is

  • Hi Amy. We are getting ready to make short sale commander available to our members. We should be launching in about a week. Sit tight!!
  • Alisa, what did you end up doing?  I am following up on this post 2 years later LOL.  We need to switch our software, we've grown too much.  Or, anyone else?  Am thinking about Short Sale Genius.

There is a one month free trial. I don't use it. We are developing our own, in house.

200 short sale files, bless you. I don't know if you should be toasted, or evaluated!

  • We're using www.ManageMyShortSale.com. We like it alright, It's fairly simple, but seems to be working out okay. It has a 30 day free trial so it might be worth checking out. Let us know how short sale commander works out. We're only working on about 45 files, but found that as we grow we needed a short sale specific platform.
