I suspected the sellers agent was doing something wrong from the very beginning. When buyer made an offer it has not been presented to a seller for a couple of days, as a matter of fact the seller did not even know there was an offer. Finally the contract was signed by both parties but the sellers agent continued marketing the house for a few more days though contract clearly stipulates NO MULTIPLE OFFERS.
Is it possible to find out if the contract has ever been submitted to the bank? On the average how long does it take for the bank to post any acknowledgment on the equator?
Any questions directed to a seller's agent via email are answered with one word either YES or NO.
Thank you.

Are you the agent or the buyer? A few days to get an offer to a seller is not unusual. I have a seller who requires me to mail everything and she is very difficult to get on the phone, 2 days is not odd and another 2 days to get the status changed in MLS is not extremely odd.
Whether you are the buyer or the agent, was this listing prescreened and was the listing agent prescreened to see if this was a short sale that has a chance of getting approved or did you just throw an offer at it.
It could take a month before the bank acknowledges the contract depending on the bank and the investor. The listing agent, if they MUST prove to you that they submitted it, can go to Equator, find the property and click on offers, then print a screen shot to show you
