short payoff letter

i just got a call from the bank that they accepted the offer of 182,000 they gave the seller 48 hours to submit final paper work. that was wed 4/21/10 how long can i expect to wait for the short payoff letter?

James. It really depends on the lender. I've received the written approval within hours and I have received some after waiting for weeks. Just stay on them
