I have been completing about 20-30 short sales per year for the past 4 years. So I am not a newbie. This is the first time I have ever dealt with Round Point Mtg. They came into play and assumed the servicing on many loans that were originally with Taylor, Bean & Whittaker debacle.
I have a buyer that came in after Round Point countered another offer and the 1st buyer walked. My buyer gave Round Point the counter offer they asked for. After about 1 month of wating in silence, the Round Point negotiator told us to re-write the contract with a closing date of on or before 9/28/2012.
It is now 9/18/2012 and we are stil waiting on approval from Round Point with no end in sight. The negotiator has only told us that "these things take time, be patient" ONCE, then nothing but silence since then.
Has anyone actually closed a short sale with Round Point?? Because I see a lot of foreclosures being sold in this area with their name...
