OCWEN Request to post private client information on Equator website

The last time I did a short sale with this awful loan company I said never again.  Well I was wrong. I appers that OCWEN has advanted from running you around to various agents who know nothing to asking you to contact them only on Equator.

My client is behind on his mortgage.  He asked me to list the house for him and filled out a package that OCWEN sent him.  He faxed it to OCWEN loss mitagation This is his private information about income, etc..  Nothing I have need to know or have access to.  I am now being told that I have to post this information on the Equator website.  If they want it there. Why don't they post it?  Is this just laziness on their part?

Thanks for your help Superstars

Judy,

Sounds like this is a GMAC loan as Ocwen purchased GMACs servicing rights. But GMAC loans are still processes using the equator system while Ocwen Loans are not. Ocwen can be a pain if you have to deal with all of the outsourced reps. We typically only email escalation contacts and Ocwen has really became a very easy servicer to process and close transactions with. Sounds like there may some miscommunication going on on Ocwens end.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me as my door is always open.

Thanks Brett:

I will just see what happens.  I do not have the docs they are asking for, and I do not want to have them.  So his two tasks will not be completed.  I will however upload offers.  I agree, it is probably a miscommunication.

I think this my have been a Litton Loan.  The last one I did was one and Litton was bought by OCWEN.

Thanks for your help.

Judy

I concur with Brett Goldsmith.

Ocwen has an email short sale process with no human ever assigned to any file and their printed "missing doc' communications are sometimes difficult to comprehend HOWEVER they are now rated my number 1 fastest short sale lender in the country.

Thank you for your input.  It can't be worse than last time.

Fingers crossed.

Judy

Judy;

It is probably not a miscommunication.

Its probably a GMAC loan because those files are associated with Equator and that is why they are conditioning you to do that. Litton is not associated with Equator.

Ask your client for the requested docs then upload them into Equator. You must comply with the Equator task uploading and do it fast.

You may be creating your own problems with this short sale by not processing according to the GMAC-Ocwen standard template.

If you sit back and wait you will end up disappointed again.
