This thread is for those banks that we know for a fact will NOT accept Electronic or Stamped signatures on their documents.  Please post the banks/lenders below & any other quirky requirements that you have discovered.  I hope that this too can be a resource thread to prevent future surprises.

  • Chase requires wet signatures. The buyers signed electronically and the seller wet, they wanted both wet.
  • Most of the big banks require all that from LLC's for their fraud department.
  • WELLS FARGO.  In my case, I had an LLC making a purchase and this is what I received today from our negotiator:

2.A notarized copy of the LLC docs (Articles of Incorporation), showing all members (not just managing members). If references other docs (Articles of Org, etc) please include notarized copies of them as well.

    3. All documents must be signed as:

    LLC Name

    LLC Position of signer

    Name of signer

4.All documents must be signed with “wet” signatures; electronic or stamped signatures are not acceptable.

    Hopefully this info helps you!
