I got this listing on Wednesday, and immediately faxed a letter of authorization,  Wednesday, Thursday and now Friday and Saturday.  I'm still not in their system.  I've used both the toll-free and the 805 number.  An offer came in Friday afternoon and was signed last night.   I cannot input into Equator because it is FHA.  Tuesday is the F-Day.  I've had the client call and initate the short sale.  My package will be ready this afternoon.I've faxed the attorney for the lender.   Anybody have an emergency number for BOA internally to help me prevent the foreclosure.   Client was in the process of moving out when the offer came in and has since moved back into the property.  In the meantime an unidentified person re-keyed the property and winterized it.  (No emergency number or name on one sticker left on property) BOA says they have no knowledge of who it might be.  We changed locks back and made police report.  The property is now posted that iti is occupied  with contact number on windows and doors.   Anybody have any suggestions as to what else I can do to help this client?  Please help.

please email me...I have an emergency email address for you(the person does not have a direct # line in), email me at [email protected], I can't promise anything...but it may work, and I also have the correct FHA Short Sale fax number but can't give you that until Monday(it's at my other office)
Carol, Get the seller on the phone with you and have the seller verbally give you authorization to speak to them. Since they don't have your LOA in their system, you will have to do this every time you want to talk to them until they get you in their system. I've had them postpone the FCL auction since I had a contract in hand and sent it to them along with the SS package 2 days before auction.

Fax the entire SS package to BofA. Send them to the number listed on the Bank of America Discussion Group.

The attorney for the lender can't really do anything to stop the sale or accept your SS package. You'll have to deal w/BofA's SS dept. directly.

I got it postponed and I did have to get the seller on the phone with me several times. That was a close one!!! It's been postponed til April 6.
Melissa:

Thanks for your input. I really appreciated it. I did not have to contact your person.
