Just closed a short sale with NationStar yesterday via Equator. I got the deficiency judgement waived for the seller. I initiated the sale on Oct 15, 2012. We should have closed at the end of Jan but had to wait on the buyer which seems to be commonplace with short sales these days:-) Be patient and stay with your short sale!
