  • Suzanne, its part of the business. There are several factors behind investor decisions, however, I am willing to bet the loan was more than 12+ months delinquent, previous postponements w/ no resolution, etc..

Hi Bryant.  Were you able to find a few good contacts there at Wells?  I sure could use a few.  We sent in a complete package and they won't postpone the sale.  They said the investor quidelines state that they won't postpone unless there is an approval on the SS.  Any contacts would be really appreciated~

  • I work in the lender side of the short sale industry, and I can tell you, if you want to get some attention, threaten media, lawsuit, legislation, going to the investor etc..the reps will not tell you they are escalating anything for media threats/legal threats, however they are trained for "complaint trigger language" and will escalate even if you dont request it..

  • Christopher. I had no luck. I was able to get the file reopened but then lost the buyer the next day.
  • Good evening Bryant, did you have any luck getting the contact info for upper management at Wells?  I'm running into a similar situation with 2 properties with Wells.  1 of them is FHA.  If you could share your experience and turnout that would be great.  Thank you in advance!
