I'm doing a short sale for a seller in California, he also have a property in Tampa Florida he needs to short sale. He has been about 6 months delinquent on that property and just received a lis pendens notice on 3/22/12. Property has 1 loan with BOA no PMI . House is in good condition, bought it for $259K , owe $164K, market value 90-95K. He gave me a copy of the lis pendens & it stated that he have to respond within 20 days from the date of service 3/22. His concerns is that does he need to hire an attorney to respond to the lis pendens stating that he wants to do a short sale or can he just called the BOA and let them know he wants to do a short sale & how much time does he have before they set a court date hearing for the foreclosure.
Please give me a call if you have experienced with BOA short sale in Tampa , FL area and would be interested in helping him with the short sale. I have a lot of SS experienced & have been doing ss since 2007 in California , need a really good ss agent in Tampa or Hillsborough County area to help my client
