As much as I appreciate this site, I was looking up information pertaining lenders changing locks and weatherization today. Where we as real estate agents feel our commission based on fees and percentages are worth collecting, being a lender myself by selling homes on a contract realize the HUGE costs of legal, foreclosures, bankruptcies and other litigations that can arise out of the rubble of financing a property.
It was nice to be able to copy and paste the many answers regarding how banks change locks, weatherize and take pictures but at times the lack of empathy for being the lenders with vacated property and potential frozen pipes, vandalism, unpaid payments and legal fees really astonished me. We as real estate agents, personally from my perspective, have been so beat up and worked so hard to accomplish our services that we almost lose the value of the asset itself in the scope of things.
I am amazed that often times real estate agents and other professionals forget that when the client is gone we will still have to work together. I do thank each of you for your contributions, accessibilty of information and comradary in closing the transactions.
Today, again, actually paid off in the information I collected.
Thank you,
Teresa
