I've had good luck lately submitting a QWR with every short sale and getting the investor information within a few weeks. 

 

Has anyone gotten the information that a POOL of loans is managed on behalf of the investors?  I got one today that the pool of loans was managed on behalf of the investors by US Bank, NA.  Now I got an address, but nothing else.  Would trying to contact them be fruitless?

    I don't always contact investors unless there is a problem.  I ALWAYS have a QWR go out with my short sale paperwork to the homeowner so I have the info on hand.  There are a few investors that I can negotiate directly with and don't have to go through Equator with so it's easier, but it's on a case by case basis.

    Smitty - Just curious, do you always contact the investors?
