I am the buyer of an Ocwen short sale. I am one of the lucky ones who had to go through the new CFPB approval process, which took about 2.5 weeks. The offer then went to the investors and was verbally approved. We have been waiting for the actual approval letter for nearly two weeks. Our loan docs and rate lock expire on the 5th and we still need to get the second approved. Is there ANY way to get the approval letter moving? Any escalation points that I or the selling agent can contact? I am really desperate for any assistance you can provide.
