Many of you may know me from ActiveRain as an REO Listing Agent - well I just took my first Short Sale Listing in over 2 years (I did over a dozen in early 2007).

I am looking for any helpful information for HSBC - my seller has both a 1st and a 2nd with them - cash out on both loans,

There is a legitimate hardship - both lost jobs within a month of each other this last July - now the wife has a job 1300 miles away and the husband is still unemployed, retired military.

Ironically, I called the number on the mortgage statement and spoke with someone who has now gone ahead and ordered an Interior BPO. Whats' up with that - it had only been in the MLS for 12 hours and no showings...let alone offers.
