My friend is renting a home and recently a Notice of Default letter was delivered for the owner. This is extremely stressful on the family because at lease signing they paid 6 months in advance. They would like to be proactive and contact the servicer. How can they find out who is the servicer?

Mark, at some point the servicer will contact the tenant, they have rights and most likely one of two things will happen, they will be allowed to stay or they will get cash for keys to move out.
She can't contact the servicer without authorization from the homeowner. There are tenants rights in foreclosure.
