Hi- I am the buyer. I made an offer on a short sale. House was purchased for 860K in '05 (owner took out 1 loan for 680K). Owner is current on payments, there is no pmi and is current on HOA's and prop taxes. It is one loan through Wells Fargo. BPO was completed about 10 days ago and WF confirmed that they received the BPO and the file is under review. Everything has been moving pretty quick so far. Short sale package was completed and turned in with our offer and proof of funds on 10/2 and BPO was completed and turned it on 10/22.
Million dollar question....how long until we should hear whether or not they will approve or counter?
The BPO should have come in very close to our offer. Comps support our offer. We are actually a little on the higher side of the comps.
