Leticia, did you ever have any luck with Franklin?
I have a 2nd lien that has been charged off in BK and offered them 8,000. There are a total of 3 liens and an HOA lien, Franklin Credit said 'the agent is getting a high commission, tell them to pay it'. Is that even legal for them to say that? Who can I reach out to?
Just finished one with Franklin Credit...they are TOUGH...they just revamped their management team so everyone I had left. Just keep countering back but once they reach an approval, extensions will cost your transaction up to $1K per month to extend so be sure you have a seller & buyer in place that is ready able and willing to come in with extra cash. However that IF your file is HAFA you MAY have a chance of getting it done with the $6K-it all depends on who the investor is on the loan. Doesn't hurt to ask if the investor participates in HAFA if the 1st lien is HAFA. Good luck, if I get any contacts I will update you. You can try kadams@franklincredit.com and see if he/she can help. Keri, Thank you soo much!! You are absolutely right, they are TOUGH! I am actually trying to negotiate a lesser payoff. I am also trying to see if buyer will contribute as well but the lady I had spoken with said they needed at least $13,000 to release lein. Why Can't they get the fact that if property forecloses, they will get $0 as opposed to $8,000 I am trying to negotiate?!! I have escalated file to Board of directors, Thomas Axon.. we'll see what happens
