2nd lien SLS total $34,500. They want $8,500. 1st Nationstat will offer 6%. SLS says the HAFA rules are $85,000. I said that they are 6% up to $8,500. SLS said, no, the rules have changed and it's $8,500 regardless.
Who's correct? If I could find documentation to the effect I'd send it to Nationstar. Usually on a HAFA, the 2nd accepts what the first give and can't receive funds from elsewhere or else it falls out of HAFA. In CA so don't care about the HAFA except for the $3,000 to the seller.
There's not enough in this for the buyer to contribute .

Thank you. Do you have a number I can call?
it's up to $8,500, but check each servicer's own HAFA Matrix to see what they allow the 2nd if they are in 1st.
