Has anyone had the situation where the investor is asking for the contract and BOA addendums to include the ex -wife? They have been divorced for over a year and the ex-husband is the only one on the loan. The house was QCD to him as a single man and the ex-wife also is designated as a single woman as part of the divorce. I have sent BOA the QCD and informed them that they have been divorced for over a year, but have not heard back from the negotiator. Dead silence seems to be their new behavior until you give them what they request. The seller is not in the best of terms with the ex-wife. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!!

If she is not on the note or deed, they shouldn't need her to sign anything. Just put it all together in writing for them and they should be fine with just his info. You can get a title co to make a statement to back up any of it and send that in too. I've done that before.
Smitty,
I just looked up the mortgage on public records and she did sign the note. So even though they were divorced and the house was QCD to him after the divorce she still needs to be on the sales contract? First time dealing with a divorced couple on a short sale.
thanks again!!
