            Hi everyone.   On Thursday, we got the call that we have been waiting for.   The short sale bank approved our lender's lower appraisal.  We are so happy about that.    There are still some things that have to happen.   Now they have to see if they condo itself can get approved (I thought that had been done already) but my realtor said that once the low appraisal came in, everything sort of stopped while they waited for the bank's answer, and then something about checking for a a lein?   So, getting the approval was HUGE and my realtor is hopeful, but there are still some steps....but...

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone here that gave me advice these last few weeks.   When I came to this forum, I was literally so depressed and confused.   And I do not have a lot of ppl IRL I can talk to about this that understand, which was feeding all the anxiety about it.     So I am grafeful for the insight I  received here.
