Has anyone done a short sale with Franklin Credit Mgmt Corp? I couldn't find them on the Lender list on the website. I have a 2nd with them trying to get short sale approval. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am new at this site so I am hoping that everyone that posted here can see this. I have a short sale with Franklin Credit right now and have been negotiating with them for a couple of months. The first which is well's fargo has offered them 3,000 and now the owner has offered them 3,000 and a promissary note of 16,000. They keep telling us it is being reviewed. Has anyone had one approved and if so what do I need to do. We are supposed to close on December 14, 2012. I would appreciate any help you can give me. This is a VA loan for the first.

We don't seem to have a lender group for Franklin Credit. If you their contact info and a short sale application for them please send it to me at brokerbryant@gmail.com and I'll start a group or you can start one yourself.
Just click on the "lender info" tab and again click on "ADD".
They accepted what the 1st was going to give them. I think it was either $3k or $6k. The short sale approval letter stated that they could go back after them but since it was a CA short sale my sellers are protected by the CA civil code. We closed.
How did that short sale work out with them? I notice this post is from 2010 and I am a bit late but I am working with them now and they are demanding 90% to be paid in full to release the lien. California short sale.
