I know everyone is having issues with FNMA's incredibly ridiculous values. Has anyone or does anyone have a contact and FNMA that may be able to put some human element into a sale I am working on? I feel like my hands are tied and I hate feeling this way!

  • Does anyone have experience dealing with Fannie Mae and their fraudulent practices?
    • @ P. Simms What type of fraudulent practices are your referring to? Please elaborate so we can provide a better response for you.

  • I know this is an old post but nothing has changed. These people are totally clueless and worse yet they don't care, and yes I'm dealing with Yolanda Walker I have an engineers report that they refuse to look at-this home has been on the market close to 4 years with 3 different agents with zero offers. We finally have a 260k offer due to the extensive work that is required in the home-not to mention a past fore and water damage. They are looking for 330k!!! only mint condition homes in that area might come close to that number but not this one. Is there a phone number with a human attached to it that I can call?

  • I assume you have gone to homepathforshortsales.com and submitted a value dispute?  I have done a few of these lately and a rep emails back and reviews the file.  We just had a value drop 25k! after the dispute was reviewed.

yolanda_walker@fanniemae.com is the rep that emailed me.  I don't know if they will help unless you have a ticket number.  good luck!

    • Lacy, that is the same contact I had after a value dispute on one that closed last week.  Contract was $123k, initial counter offer was $150k.  I did a value dispute, expected a realistic value of $140k, contract approved at $123K!
