I am trying to get a short sale postponed with Seterus (servicer) for a FNMA loan. We are only 1 week away from the Trustee Sale and have unfortunately just submitted the short sale package. Seterus is telling us that their investor (FNMA) will not postpone at all. I have had other FNMA short sales postponed one time without a problem and yet this one is saying they will not postpone even once.
Any suggestions?

Do you have access to the fannie mae help desk through your MLS? I have found them to be very responsive. Try to contact them directly and bypass the servicer. I'm not saying it will work, but you may have a better shot.
